Golf 7 2.0 TDI 4Motion R-Line​

Hey everyone,

I thought it was finally time to start a build journal for my Golf. I'll be using this thread to document the journey, share updates, and keep track of everything I do to the car.

The car is a Volkswagen Golf 7 2.0 TDI 4Motion R-Line. It's my daily driver, but I also enjoy improving it whenever I get the chance. My goal isn't to build the fastest car out there—I'm aiming for a clean OEM+ look with a nice balance between performance, handling, and practicality.

Current Setup​

Engine & Performance​

• 2.0 TDI 4Motion
• Custom Stage 2 tune
• Approximately 220 HP / 440 Nm
• APR intake
• DPF delete
• EGR delete
• Custom ECU mapping

Suspension​

• Lowered 45 mm

Wheels​

• 15 mm spacers (front)
• 17.5 mm spacers (rear)

The car feels completely different compared to stock. The extra torque makes it much more enjoyable to drive, while the lowered suspension and spacers have really improved the stance without sacrificing daily comfort.

Future Plans​

The build is far from finished. Some of the upgrades I'm planning include:

• New wheels
• Better braking setup
• More performance upgrades where possible
• A few custom touches to make the car unique

I'll keep this journal updated whenever I make changes or add new parts.
